BMW master cylinder

BMW master cylinder refers to the main hydraulic component found in brake systems and transmission systems. The main role of the master cylinder is to transmit and amplify the input force of the leg muscles. When the clutch pedal or the brake pedal of the automobile is stepped upon, the master piston forces the hydraulic fluid inside the master cylinder. Since the hydraulic fluid cannot be compressed, the fluid tries to find exits. Consequently, the hydraulic fluid flows into the slave cylinders. In turn, the slave cylinders push the slave pistons to operate the actuators.
